Addycombe Cottage is in Rothbury. It's a ground floor cottage, built in the 1870s. You're about four minutes' walk from the high street.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner in the living room, which is a good size. The ceilings are a bit low in the kitchen. Just a heads up if you're tall.
You can bring one dog. There's a small patio area out the back, and parking for one car on site.
Rothbury is a small market town on the River Coquet. There are a few pubs and cafes on the high street you can walk to. It's good for walking and cycling, right on the edge of Northumberland National Park.
Cragside is very close. It's a National Trust house with massive gardens. You can easily spend a day there. National Trust Cragside.
Alnwick Castle is about half an hour's drive. The Northumberland coast, like Alnmouth and Craster, is within 30 minutes too. For a bigger day out, Kielder Water and Forest is about an hour away.
In the cottage you've got a washing machine, towels and bedding are provided, and there's WiFi. There's a TV. No dishwasher.
