The Bungalow is in Thropton, Northumberland. It's a bungalow, obviously, so everything's on one level. There are no stairs.
It sleeps four. Two kingsize bedrooms and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.
There's a wood burner in the living room. The sofas recline. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine.
You've got a front garden with a table and chairs. It's up a bit of a slope, so you get a good view over the village and the fields beyond.
Two decent pubs are a few hundred yards away. Both do food. There's a shop and a petrol station in the village.
Rothbury is under two miles away. It's a small market town with cafes, pubs, and some interesting shops. From there, you're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park.
Cragside House is just outside Rothbury. It's a National Trust property with massive gardens and walks. The Simonside Hills are right there for walking.
You can drive to the coast in under an hour. Alnwick is about 14 miles away. The castle and gardens are the main draw there. The Northumberland Coast is a bit further, but it's a good day out.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, wifi, parking. There's no pet allowance.
