Beech Cottage

Beech Cottage is in Hepple, which is a very small village right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. It's a 19th century cottage, so it's got old walls and low beams in places. It's next to the old post office.

It sleeps four people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, which means it's comfortable and clean but not a showhome. The garden at the back is small, but it's private and catches the sun. It looks out over fields towards the Simonside hills.

You're right in the Park here, so it's very quiet and dark at night. If you're into stargazing, it's a good spot for it. Rothbury is about five miles away. That's where you'll find the nearest pubs, a few shops, and some nice walks by the river.

For days out, Cragside is close by, and so is Wallington Hall. Alnwick Castle is about a half hour drive. The coast, like Alnmouth or Bamburgh, is about forty minutes in the car.

For facilities, it's got a woodburning stove, a washing machine, and WiFi. There's parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, sorry.
