Croft Cottage Burradon

Croft Cottage is just outside Burradon village. It's detached and single-storey, so everything's on the ground floor. It was done up in 2019.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One dog is allowed. The rating is four star.

You get outstanding views over fields from the main living area. There are French doors that open onto a patio and a lawned garden that's enclosed. It's very quiet.

Inside, it's a generous size. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. There's a bike store about four minutes' walk away if you need it. The owner lives on-site.

The nearest pub is in Thropton, about four and three-quarter miles away. Rothbury is just over six miles. It's a nice market town with shops, cafes, pubs, and riverside walks. Cragside, the National Trust house, is there. It's well worth a visit.

You're close to the edge of the Northumberland National Park. The Simonside Hills are nearby for walking. For day trips, Alnwick with its castle is about a half hour drive. The Northumberland coast, like Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island, is within an hour.
