Keepers Cottage is a detached single-storey cottage in Burradon, Northumberland. It used to be a gamekeeper's lodge. It's quiet and set back from the road.
It sleeps four. There are two double bedrooms. Both have their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The living room has a woodburning stove. It works well. The garden is enclosed and private, good if you're bringing a dog. You get a lot of birds in the trees.
For getting out, you're well placed. The coast is about a fifteen minute drive. Druridge Bay and Cresswell are good stretches. The Northumberland National Park is about half an hour west for walking.
Seahouses, for boat trips to the Farne Islands, is roughly twenty-five minutes by car. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about the same distance. Morpeth is the nearest proper town for bigger shops, that's twenty minutes south.
In terms of what's here, it's got the things you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Parking is right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
