Keepers Cottage is in Burradon, about a mile from the coast. It's a detached single storey cottage. That means everything's on one level, so there are no stairs at all.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Both are doubles. The main bedroom has its own bathroom, and there's another bathroom next to the second bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's an open fire in the living room. We leave some wood for you.
The garden is enclosed and private. It's quiet out here. You see more birds than people.
Cramlington is the nearest town for supermarkets, about a ten minute drive. The beach at Seaton Sluice is a few minutes further. It's a mix of sand and rock pools. Blyth is another ten minutes south if you need a bigger town.
Newcastle city centre is about half an hour's drive. Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden are a bit less than that, maybe twenty five minutes north. Northumberland National Park is about forty minutes west if you're after real wilderness.
For facilities, it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one well behaved dog.
