Kennel Cottage

This is Kennel Cottage in Alwinton. It's detached. Sleeps two, one bedroom, two bathrooms. One is an ensuite.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. There's a sunroom at the back which is good for watching the garden. A small stream runs through it, so you see a lot of wildlife. Roe deer, birds of prey. You might see red squirrels.

It's very quiet. Sheep in the fields around you. The nearest pub is about two miles away in Harbottle. They do food and they're dog friendly. There's a small shop there too.

You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. The dark skies are excellent here if you like stargazing. There are cycle routes and footpaths straight from the door.

Rothbury is half an hour's drive. It has shops and cafes. Cragside, the National Trust house, is there. Alnwick Castle is about 20 miles away. The Scottish border is about 30 miles if you fancy a day trip.

For facilities, it has parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
