Conway Cottage is on the high street in Rothbury, but set back off the road behind some big gates. It's a semi-detached stone cottage. You get your own bit of courtyard out the front.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a listed building, so it's full of old features like a big stone fireplace with a wood burner. The stairs are steep and narrow, as you'd expect.
You can walk to everything in Rothbury. There are pubs, bakeries, a butchers, and shops. The River Coquet runs through the town if you fancy a stroll. You can walk to Cragside from here, which is a Victorian house with all sorts of gadgets and big gardens.
For a day out, Alnwick Castle is about half an hour away by car. The Northumberland National Park starts just outside town. The coast, like Alnmouth or Craster, is also about a 30-minute drive.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one. The parking is in the shared courtyard out the front. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
