Conway Cottage is in Rothbury. It's a Grade II listed cottage, which mostly means it's old, solid, and you can't just change anything. It's a semi-detached place, set back from the main street behind some big gates. There's a courtyard out the front you can use.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner in an old inglenook fireplace. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so watch your head. You can bring one dog.
You're right in the town. There are a few pubs and shops a minute's walk away. The butchers is good. Parking in Rothbury is generally free, which helps.
If you want to walk, you can go along the River Coquet or get up into the Simonside Hills. Cragside is walkable from the cottage. It's a National Trust place with a big house and gardens.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got Alnwick Castle. The Northumberland National Park starts just west of Rothbury. The coast, with places like Alnmouth and Craster, is about a 40 minute drive.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one.
