Lavender Cottage

Lavender Cottage is in Seahouses. It's just off the main street, so you can walk to the shops and the harbour. It's a detached house with its own garden.

The house sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's very well equipped and finished to a high standard. The garden is fully enclosed and has a firepit.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's a stairgate and a cot if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There is parking on the drive.

The house has a smart TV, wifi, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's also bike storage. The owners have arranged for guests to use the leisure facilities at The Ocean Club nearby. You pay as you go for the swimming pool, spa and gym.

Seahouses is a working fishing village. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops. Boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from the harbour. The beach is about a twenty minute walk, or a couple of minutes in the car.

Bamburgh Castle is two miles up the coast. The beach there is excellent. Holy Island is visible from the shore and you can drive over at low tide.

Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a twenty minute drive away. The castle was used in the Harry Potter films. The gardens are very popular, especially the treehouse restaurant.
