Sea Spray is in Beadnell. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. There's a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. The living space is open plan and the French doors open onto the patio.
Beadnell Bay beach is about a five minute walk. It's a long, sandy beach, good for walking, swimming, or surfing. There's a surf school there if you fancy a lesson. There's a local pub and a café near the beach as well.
Seahouses is the next village along, about two miles. That's where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals. They do good fish and chips there too.
For castles, you've got Alnwick Castle and Warkworth Castle, both about a 20 minute drive. Dunstanburgh Castle is a bit further, but you can walk to it from Craster along the coast path.
Facilities wise: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. It's a no pets property.
