Carriage House
Carriage House is on the Doxford Estate, near Embleton. It's a converted Victorian coach house. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star Gold rating. That means it's well looked after.
The living room has a wood burner and logs are included. There's a kitchen with a granite breakfast bar and a separate dining area. The stairs are normal.
Outside, there's a private terrace looking towards the woods and Doxford Lake. The main thing for kids is the detached games room. It's got a big TV, table football, air hockey, and space for basketball. There's also an outdoor playground with swings, a slide, and a trampoline on the estate. For wet days, there's an indoor sports court with soft play.
The estate is good for walks. You can stroll around the lake or over to Doxford Hall if you want to use the spa or have a meal.
Embleton Bay beach is about ten minutes away by car. It's a good sandy beach. Bamburgh Castle and beach are about fifteen minutes. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are roughly half an hour. The fishing villages like Craster and Seahouses are close by.
There's a pub within a mile. The nearest shop is a drive away.
