This is the Apple Store cottage. It's on the Ellingham Hall estate, so you're in the grounds but it's your own place.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well done up and comfortable. You can bring two dogs.
The cottage is stone-built. It looks out over the estate gardens and you can see the hall from the windows. There's a woodburning stove for colder nights. The garden is enclosed, which is handy with dogs or kids.
There's a tree house play area for children just a short walk from the cottage door. Everything you'd expect is here: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
You're right near the coast. It's about a ten minute drive to Seahouses. From there you can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands, which is brilliant for seeing seals and puffins.
Bamburgh Castle is a few miles up the road. The beach there is huge. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a 20 minute drive inland. That's the Harry Potter castle.
There's a pub you can walk to from the cottage. For a supermarket, you'd drive to Alnwick.
