Snowdrop Cottage is in North Sunderland, about a five minute walk from Seahouses harbour. It's a three bedroom house that sleeps five. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower downstairs and a family bathroom upstairs. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable.
The living area is open plan with the kitchen and dining space. It's a bright room with a modern electric fire on the wall. The garden is fully enclosed with a patio and a fire pit.
You can use the leisure facilities at the Ocean Club on a pay-as-you-go basis. That's a short drive away and has a pool, gym and spa.
Seahouses has pubs, shops and places to eat. Boat trips to the Farne Islands run from the harbour. They're famous for the puffins and seals. You can walk to Bamburgh along the beach in about forty minutes, or drive it in five. The castle is there and the beach is huge. Holy Island is visible from the coast and accessible by causeway, but you must check the tide times.
Further up the coast, Budle Bay is good for birdwatching. Alnwick is about a twenty minute drive inland. Alnwick Castle was used in the Harry Potter films and runs tours. The Alnwick Garden is there too, with the Grand Cascade and the treehouse restaurant.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are provided. A cot, highchair and stairgate are available. We accept up to two dogs.
