Guillemot Cottage is in Seahouses. It's a terrace house on a quiet side street, about a five-minute walk from the harbour. You get the garden to yourselves, with a patio and seating.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not fancy. It's got everything you need: a kitchen with the usual stuff, a living area with a TV and a table for four, and a downstairs toilet.
Both bedrooms are upstairs. There's one with twin beds and one with a king size. The king room has its own small shower room. There's also a family bathroom with a bath.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids. There's parking right outside the front door.
Seahouses itself is handy. There are shops and pubs a short walk away. The harbour is where you get the boats out to the Farne Islands. They're worth a trip for the seabirds and seals. National Trust Farne Islands.
Bamburgh is about ten minutes by car. The castle is huge and right on the beach. It's a good walk along the coast from there. Bamburgh Castle.
Alnwick is about twenty minutes inland. The castle is famous, and the garden has that big water feature. The Alnwick Garden.
Facilities wise: all the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a washing machine, and central heating. No pets, sorry.
