This is Turnstone. It's one of a row of modern townhouses in Seahouses, quite close to the harbour area. It's a terrace, so you have neighbours either side, but you get your own enclosed garden out the back. The patio doors open onto it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both upstairs. The main bedroom has a view of the sea, which is nice. It has its own shower room, and there's a second bathroom as well. It's a 3 Star place, so everything works and it's clean, but it's not a luxury hotel.
You can walk to pretty much everything in Seahouses. The harbour, the shops, a few pubs and places to eat are all a couple of minutes away. The beach is about a five minute walk. Boat trips to the Farne Islands go from the harbour. That's a good day out if you like birds and seals. The National Trust looks after the islands.
Bamburgh is a few miles up the road. The castle is huge and worth seeing. Beadnell Bay, which is good for windsurfing, is about two miles south. Alnwick, with its castle and gardens, is about a twenty minute drive inland. You can walk a lot of the coast path from here.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking for one car right outside. Bedding and towels are included. The front door and the living area are on the ground floor with no steps, so it's suitable for someone with limited mobility. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
