Marram at The Viking is a first-floor apartment in Seahouses. It's in a modern building on the harbour, so it's right in the middle of things.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, one is ensuite. Everything feels quite new and it's kept clean.
You get your own little detached garden area out the front, which looks over the harbour. There's also a balcony off the living room. It's sunny in the afternoon. Inside, it's all open plan.
Parking is in a secure garage underneath the building. That's useful as parking can be tight in the village.
Everything is very close. The harbour, fish and chip shops, pubs and a small supermarket are all a two-minute walk. The beach is just down the road.
Boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from the harbour. You'll see a lot of birds and seals. Bamburgh Castle is two miles up the road, you can see it from the front. The castle grounds and the beach there are worth the short drive.
Further along, you've got Holy Island, which is about a twenty-minute drive, but you have to check the tide times to get across. Alnwick and its castle are about a fifteen-minute drive inland. The Alnwick Garden is there too.
The apartment has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's Wi-Fi and a TV.
