Millhouse Cottage is in Waren Mill. That's on the Northumberland coast, about halfway between Seahouses and Bamburgh. It's a detached stone cottage. You've got your own garden, which is enclosed.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. You should know the staircase is open and the steps are steep. That's fairly normal for these cottages, but take care on them.
The main thing here is the view. From the upstairs windows you look out over the fields towards the sea. It's a good spot for watching the weather come in.
Inside, it's got a decent kitchen with a rangemaster cooker, and a separate utility room with a fridge freezer and a washer dryer. There's a dining area and a living room with an open fire. The garden has a patio with furniture and a gas barbecue.
For the area: Bamburgh Castle is about two and a half miles up the road. The beach at Bamburgh is vast. Seahouses is a few miles the other way, where you can get boat trips to the Farne Islands. Holy Island (Lindisfarne) is a 20-minute drive, but you must check the tide times to cross the causeway.
The Northumberland Coast Path runs right past the end of the lane if you want to walk. For a bigger day out, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a 25-minute drive south.
Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included, there's on-site parking, Wi-Fi, a cot and highchair. No pets. You'll need to bring your own coal or wood for the fire.
