Mill Cottage
Mill Cottage is in Belford, up north in Northumberland. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well looked after.
It's just off the A1, so it's easy to get to, but you can walk into the village centre. There are three pubs and a shop in the village, all a few minutes walk away.
The cottage is end of terrace, with parking right outside the front door. You can bring one dog. There's a small yard out the back, but it's not enclosed. You'd need to keep an eye on them.
Inside, it's small but it works. The stairs are cottage stairs, so a bit steep and narrow. The main bedroom has a king-size bed. The second room has full-sized adult bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
Everything you'd need is there: a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
It's a good spot for getting out and about. You're about ten minutes drive from Bamburgh and its castle, and the big beach there. Holy Island is maybe twenty minutes, but you have to check the tide times. The coast road up to Berwick is lovely.
For a longer day, Alnwick Castle and gardens are about twenty minutes south. The Northumberland National Park is half an hour west if you want proper hills.
