Six The Square is a single-storey cottage on a farm just outside the village of Elwick. It's an end terrace, so you have neighbours on one side. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a four star rating.
The layout is all on one level, which is good if you don't want stairs. There's an open plan living and kitchen area. The kitchen has the usual stuff, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The garden is at the front, it's a lawn with a patio bit and a BBQ.
You're about three miles from the coast here. Bamburgh beach is a few minutes' drive away, it's a long sandy beach. Ross Links is even closer, that's a good spot for a walk. The farm itself is quiet, it's just fields. There's a pub about three miles away in the village.
If you want things to do, Bamburgh Castle is obvious. It's a proper castle on the coast. For walking, you've got the St Oswald's Way path nearby, and the Northumberland Coast Path. The National Trust has a few places along this coast too, like Lindisfarne Castle. The Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site has maps and information.
In terms of facilities, it's all there. Wi-Fi, TV, parking for two cars. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed. It's on a working farm, so you might see horses or tractors around. That's about it.
