Winnies Cottage is in Belford, right in the village. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. We accept up to two dogs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well equipped. It's part of a small courtyard with another cottage, but you have your own front door and a private patio area with seating. There's a shared BBQ if you want to use it.
The bathroom is on the ground floor, which is handy. The bedroom is upstairs.
The village has what you need. There's a good supermarket just down the road, a few shops and cafes, and three pubs. One of the pubs is ours, it does food and sometimes has live music at weekends.
You're well placed here. Bamburgh is about five miles away, so you can see the castle. The coast is very close. Budle Bay is good for watching birds. Holy Island is a short drive, but check the tide times.
For walking, St Cuthbert's Cave is a couple of miles from the village. The Northumberland Coast Path runs nearby. If you want to go inland, the Northumberland National Park is about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's parking right outside, WiFi, TV, and all bedding and towels are included. The kitchen has what you'd expect for a self-catering stay.
