This is Lindisfarne Cottage. It's in Lucker, near Belford, in Northumberland. It's a single storey stone cottage, so everything is on the ground floor. Good for anyone who doesn't want stairs.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. One has a double bed, the other two have two single beds each. There's one bathroom with a bath and an electric shower above it. The place has a three star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The main living space is open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and living room all together. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings and a smart TV. The kitchen has what you need. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs or have kids. You can park on site.
You can bring up to two pets. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a cot, and a highchair if you need them.
The location is quiet, in the countryside. You're about ten minutes' drive from the coast. Bamburgh Castle is very close, maybe a five minute drive. Holy Island, or Lindisfarne, is about fifteen minutes away, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway. The beaches along this coast are excellent, long and sandy. Seahouses is nearby for boat trips to the Farne Islands.
For walks, you've got the Northumberland Coastal Path right there. Or you can head inland a bit to the Cheviot hills. For history, there are a lot of castles and sites. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is about a twenty minute drive.
