Thelma's House is on a farm near Belford. It's a single-storey cottage, which is good for anyone who doesn't want stairs. It sleeps seven in three bedrooms and a bunk room. There are two bathrooms which helps with a full house.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and has what you need. The living room has an electric fire for cool evenings. The kitchen is open plan and has a dishwasher and washing machine.
The garden is enclosed, which is ideal if you're bringing a dog or have kids. There's a summerhouse out there too. You get a clear view of the fields and it's very quiet.
A footpath from the farm goes down to the shore and a bird hide. It takes about fifteen minutes to walk. The land here is part of the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve.
Bamburgh and its castle are about ten minutes in the car. Seahouses, where you get boats to the Farne Islands, is a bit further. Holy Island is a short drive too, but you have to check the tide times for the crossing.
For a longer day out, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are within half an hour. The Northumberland Coast Path is right on the doorstep for walking.
The facilities are all listed. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a cot if you need it.
