The Martin's
The Martin's is on Elwick Farm, near Belford. It's a single-storey cottage, which is good if you don't want stairs. It's one of a few on the farm. They're simple, brick-built places.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms. One super king, two twins. There are two bathrooms, one has a shower over the bath, the other is just a shower room. It's a 4 Star, so it's well kept and has what you need. It's all on the ground floor.
The garden is enclosed. It's a decent size, mostly lawn. There's a BBQ and some furniture. You can bring one dog.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen's at one end, living area at the other. It has an electric fire that looks like a wood burner. There's a TV, dishwasher, washing machine, and a dryer. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot in if you need one.
Location wise, you're about three miles from Belford village. There's a pub there. The coast is a ten minute drive. Bamburgh beach is massive. Seahouses is where you get boats out to the Farne Islands for the seals and birds. Bamburgh Castle is right there on the coast too.
Further along, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about twenty minutes away. If you head inland, you're on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. For a full day out, Holy Island is within half an hour, but you have to check the tide times.
Parking is right outside the cottage. The other cottages on the farm can be booked together if you've got a bigger group.
