Annie Oswalds Cottage

Annie Oswalds is a stone barn conversion just outside Lucker in Northumberland. It's a quiet spot with fields around it, but you're only a few miles from everything.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a four star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfy. There's an open plan living area downstairs with a woodburner. The stairs are typical for a barn conversion, so they're a bit steeper than normal house stairs.

Outside, there's a patio area at the front with a table and chairs. It gets the sun. You can park right next to the cottage.

Bamburgh village is about four miles away. You've got the castle, a huge beach, and a few places to eat. The pub in Lucker is a short drive, or walk if you don't mind a country lane. Seahouses is just along the coast for boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the seals and puffins.

Further afield, you've got Alnwick Castle about a twenty minute drive south. It's the one they used for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. There's also a good garden there. For a longer walk, the Cheviot Hills or stretches of the Northumberland Coast Path are within half an hour.

Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. The heating and electricity are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
