Northern Hideaways St Cuthberts is in Seahouses. It's a stone cottage, about two minutes' walk from the harbour front. There are shops and places to eat very close by.
It sleeps four, in two king-size bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which is high. It's been done up recently, so it's in good order. It's clean and comfortable.
You can walk to the beach from here. Bamburgh beach and castle are along the coast. The castle is a good walk, maybe 45 minutes along the dunes, or a very short drive. The beach is huge.
From the harbour in Seahouses, you can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands. It's a great trip for seeing seabirds and seals. You can book that at the kiosks down on the quay.
Other places within about half an hour by car: Alnwick Castle and its gardens, and the beach at Beadnell. Craster is along the coast for kippers. Holy Island is a bit further, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway.
The cottage has a wood burner, parking, WiFi, and a washing machine. There are two patio areas outside. It is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedding and towels are included, and we can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
