53 Longbeach

53 Longbeach is in Beadnell, right near the beach. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. The garden is enclosed. There's parking for two cars on the drive, and you can use one bit of the garage to store bikes or surfboards.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's got things like a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and there's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.

The beach is about a ten-minute walk. It's a massive sandy beach, good for a proper walk or if you're into water sports. The village has a shop and a couple of pubs that do food.

Seahouses is two miles up the coast. That's where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see the seals and puffins. It's got fish and chip shops and the usual seaside things. Bamburgh is about five miles away, with its castle and another great beach. Craster is south, famous for kippers, and you can walk to Dunstanburgh Castle from there.

Alnwick is inland, maybe a fifteen-minute drive. They've got the castle and the famous Alnwick Garden. It's a proper market town for shopping.

If you're planning trips out, these sites are useful: National Trust Northumberland Coast and Visit Northumberland. For the boat trips and island information, it's best to check Farne Islands directly.
