The Dunes is a detached house in Beadnell, right by the beach. The back gate opens into the beach car park. It's about a hundred yards to the sand.
It sleeps ten people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Two of the beds are unusual: one is bunk beds, and another is a bunk bed with a kingsize bed at the bottom and a double on top. The stairs are fine, normal house stairs.
You can bring two dogs. There's an enclosed garden with a picnic table. Parking is on site.
Beadnell itself is small. There's a local pub that does food, and a couple of places for fish and chips or coffee. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Alnwick or Seahouses.
The beach here is good for swimming and windsurfing. For walking, you're on the Northumberland Coast Path. Northumberland Coast AONB has information. Historic sites like Bamburgh Castle are a ten-minute drive. The Farne Islands boat trips leave from Seahouses, which is about two miles away.
Inside, it's all open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them.
