Beechcroft is a terraced house in Seahouses, about a five-minute walk from the harbour. It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well kept and has things like a dishwasher and a wood burner. The garden out the back is enclosed, which is handy. There's on-site parking and an electric vehicle charger.
The stairs are standard for a house like this. Two bedrooms have king-size beds and the third has bunk beds. We leave buckets and spades and a windbreaker for the beach.
You can walk to everything in Seahouses. The harbour, pubs, shops, fish and chips. Boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from there. It's good for seeing puffins and seals.
Bamburgh Castle is about ten minutes away by car. The beach there is huge. In the other direction, Craster is about twenty minutes. You can walk from there to Dunstanburgh Castle along the coast. Dunstanburgh Castle is English Heritage. Holy Island is about half an hour, but you must check the tide times for the crossing.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. We take up to three pets. There's a BBQ in the garden.
