Water Side
Water Side is a detached house right on Falmouth Marina. It's got big windows so you can watch all the boats coming and going.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
Everything inside is on one level. There are a few steps you should know about: six stone steps up from the parking area to the back door, and six steps down to the front door. There's also a small self-contained annexe under one end of the house with its own access; that has a permanent tenant living there, so it's not part of the rental.
Outside, there's a sun deck with some furniture and a big barbecue and dining area.
You can walk into the centre of Falmouth easily. It's level, past the Greenbank Hotel and the yacht club. The town has good restaurants and pubs. Events Square and the National Maritime Museum are at the far end. The ferry trips from the Prince of Wales Pier are worth doing, over to St Mawes or up the river towards Truro.
For beaches, Gyllingvase and Swanpool are about a mile and three quarters away. They're south-facing so they get the sun.
Cornwall’s main attractions are within a thirty minute drive, like the Lizard Peninsula or the north coast beaches.
Facilities: parking for one car, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a shower and full bathroom upstairs. Sorry, no pets.
