The Cabin
The Cabin is in Carnon Downs, Cornwall. It's one of three lodges here, so it's not remote. You park right next to it.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. The site has about 20 acres of gardens you can walk around. There's a play area for kids, and a cafe and wine bar at the reception building.
You can walk from here down to the River Fal and the creek. The Bissoe Trail is good if you have bikes. The Camel Trail is a bit further but you can hire bikes there.
Truro is the nearest city for shopping, about ten minutes by car. Falmouth is about eight miles away. It's nice for a wander, has the Maritime Museum and plenty of places to eat.
For a big day out, the Eden Project is about half an hour's drive. The gardens at Trebah, Glendurgan and Heligan are all within half an hour too. There are lots of beaches nearby, like Praa Sands. For something more active, Adrenalin Quarry has zip wires and things like that.
What's here: Your own patio and garden area. Parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
