Anneth Lowen
This is Anneth Lowen, near Frogpool in Cornwall. It's my place. It's on the ground floor, which is handy. There's a parking space right outside.
It sleeps three, plus a small child if you use the cot or the pull-out bed. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The layout is open-plan, so it feels quite spacious. Doors open straight out onto the garden.
The garden is private, mainly lawn. There's a small pond in it. You get tables and chairs out there, and a BBQ. It's a quiet spot. You'll hear owls at night.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you need. WiFi, TV, washing machine. All bedding and towels are provided.
The location is good for getting around. Truro is about six miles away for shops. Redruth is closer, about five miles. Portreath beach is the nearest, about seven miles. It's sandy and has a cafe.
For walks, you're spoiled. The Carn Marth circular walk starts nearby. Bissoe nature reserve is less than two miles away. There's a good trail there that goes all the way to Portreath beach if you fancy it. Tehidy Country Park is about ten miles away, miles of woodland walks. There's a golf course close by too.
