This is Pencreek Cottage. It's in Coombe, which is a quiet spot near the river Carnon, just outside Truro. It's a one-bedroom place, so it's just for two people. You can bring a couple of dogs.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out. There's a wood burner, which is good for cooler evenings. The bath is in the bedroom, which is unusual. It's a roll-top bath. You can see the river from it. The main living space is open plan and looks out over the water.
Outside, there's a private patio area with a barbecue. You're set back from the road, so it's quiet. The property is next to plum orchards, which is quite specific to this area.
Location wise, you're about ten minutes by car from Truro. It's got supermarkets and the normal town things. For the coast, you'd drive. Loe Beach is close, maybe five minutes, if you want to try sailing. The King Harry Ferry to the Roseland Peninsula is nearby, which gets you to some good coastal path. National Trust Cornwall has details for a lot of those walks.
Newquay is about half an hour north for surfing. Falmouth, for the harbour and museums, is maybe twenty minutes south. St Mawes is a bit further, past the ferry.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
