This place is called Highlands. It's up the hill from St Mawes itself, so you get the view. It's a chalet bungalow we've done up. Sleeps seven in four bedrooms. All four have their own bathroom or shower room, which is handy.
The main room is open plan. Big kitchen, dining area, and a sitting bit with a bay window looking right out over the estuary and Falmouth Bay. There's a second sitting room too, with a TV. You can shut the doors between them if you want.
Three of the bedrooms are downstairs. Two can be set up as twins or doubles, they each have an ensuite shower room. There's a third single room down there as well, and a separate shower room. Upstairs is the main bedroom. It has doors that open onto a Juliet balcony, so you get the best view from there. It's got an ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The kitchen has what you'd need: dishwasher, double oven, fridge-freezer. There's a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. Parking is on site. The garden is a paved patio area, good for sitting out.
You can walk down into St Mawes village, though it's a steep walk back up. The Roseland Peninsula is good for walking. You can get the ferry over to Falmouth from St Mawes, which is a nice way to do it.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. Everything is included, like bedding and towels. No pets.
