This is 5 Harbour Court. It's an apartment right by the water in Portscatho. You get down to the front door via some steps, which lead up to a gated courtyard. There's a shared terrace out there with a table and chairs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One has a double bed with a bit of a sea view, the other has bunk beds. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and maintained but not high-end. The living area is a good size and looks straight out over the beach and the bay. The kitchen is fine for holiday cooking.
You're literally a few steps from the foreshore. The village square is about a hundred yards away. There's a shop, a pub, and a post office all there. It's very handy.
As part of Harbour Court, you can use the Harbour Club next door. They've got a bar, a gym, and a snooker table. They do family cinema nights and sometimes have live music, especially on bank holiday weekends.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are all included. You can bring one dog. There's no accommodation above you, so it's just the neighbours either side.
For planning, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful. The Visit Cornwall site has general information. The Roseland Peninsula is beautiful for walking. St Mawes is about a twenty-minute drive, and you can get the ferry over to Falmouth from there. Truro is roughly half an hour away if you need a bigger town or the cathedral.
