This is Poldhu, in St Mawes. It's a bungalow, a few streets back from the harbour on a quiet hill. Nice and private.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. Two proper doubles, one with an en-suite bath, and a twin room. There's another family shower room as well. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The view is the main thing. You get a panoramic sea view from the back, right over the Carrick Roads and towards the Lizard. There's a big deck and a decent sized garden.
The kitchen is fine and has that same view. The living room has comfy sofas and doors to the deck. There's a Smart TV with Netflix and BT Sport if you need it. A utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
St Mawes centre is about an eight minute walk downhill. There are a few shops, cafes, and the passenger ferry to Falmouth. The ferry is a nice way to get across because then you avoid the drive.
Within a half hour drive you've got a lot. The Roseland is good for coastal walks. St Anthony's Head is close for a bracing walk. Trebah and Glendurgan gardens are over near Falmouth if you like that sort of thing.
Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking for a couple of cars. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
