Dreckly is in Pendra Loweth, which is a little self-contained garden village in a valley just outside Falmouth. It’s quiet here, with trees around it.
The house sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 3 Star rating, which means it’s clean and functional. The open plan living area downstairs is fine. The kitchen leads out to a wooden decking area that gets the sun and has a stream running alongside it.
You can walk down the valley to Maenporth beach. It takes about twenty minutes. There’s a good beach cafe there now, which I think Michael Caines has taken over. For a pint or more of a meal out, you need to drive into Falmouth, which isn’t far.
From Falmouth you can get the ferries over to St Mawes or up the river to places like Trelissick. From the house you’re quite central for exploring, really. The Lizard peninsula is about half an hour, with Kynance Cove and the lighthouse. The Helford River is about twenty minutes the other way.
What’s here. The house has a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a washing machine. The shower is just a shower, not a bath. There’s a little play area for kids on site and a basic gym, but I think it’s just a few bits of equipment in a shed. No pets, sorry.
