Chough Cottage At Pendra Loweth
Chough Cottage is in Pendra Loweth, which is a kind of holiday village in a valley just outside Falmouth. It's got gardens and woods. There's a cafe and a bar and a little shop on site, which can be handy.
The cottage itself sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well kept. The main living area is open plan. There's a patio that gets the sun for most of the day.
You can walk down the valley to Maenporth Beach. It takes about twenty minutes. It's a nice beach with a good cafe. For Falmouth itself, you'll want to drive. It's only a few minutes by car. It's a proper working town with lots of pubs and restaurants. The Maritime Museum is there if that's your sort of thing. You can get ferries from the town quay over to St Mawes or up the river.
Within half an hour you can drive down to the Lizard peninsula. Kynance Cove is there, which is spectacular. Or you can go the other way towards the Helford River, which is much quieter.
Facilities: it's got parking, wifi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's also a shared swimming pool and a gym on the estate. There's an electric vehicle charger.
