This is Chough Cottage. It's part of Pendra Loweth, which is a sort of garden village a bit outside Falmouth. The place is built in a wooded valley.
It sleeps four people, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main living area is open plan. There's a patio that gets the sun.
On site, there's a cafe, a bar, a shop, a swimming pool, and a gym. There's also parking and an electric vehicle charger.
The cottage has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a travel cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a TV and wi-fi.
Down at the bottom of the valley, about a 20-minute walk, is Maenporth Beach. It's a nice sandy beach with a cafe.
Falmouth itself is a short drive. It's a proper working town with a busy harbour. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. You can get ferries from there to places like St Mawes. The National Maritime Museum is there if that's your sort of thing.
Within half an hour you can drive to the Helford River, or down to the Lizard Peninsula. Kynance Cove is down that way. If you head up the river from Falmouth, you can get to Trelissick Gardens, which is National Trust.
