Our place is called Petroc. It's in St Mawes, right in the village. It's a house, one of a terrace, but you get the whole thing. The main thing is the view. You can see right across the water from the balcony upstairs.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two have king size beds and one is a twin. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower downstairs and a family bathroom upstairs. We've got a 4 Star rating.
You walk in through a small porch into the living and dining room. It's a bright space. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. The kitchen is out the back, with a utility area and the downstairs shower room. It has all the usual things: dishwasher, washing machine.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has doors out to a balcony. It looks out over the water. You can sit out there with a coffee. The other king bedroom also has a sea view. The twin room faces the back.
St Mawes itself is right there. You can walk to the harbour, shops, and places to eat. The local pub is a short walk. For a bigger trip, you can get the passenger ferry over to Falmouth, which is a good day out.
The coastal path is on the doorstep for walks. The Roseland peninsula is beautiful. For planning, the National Trust Cornwall site is useful, and so is Visit Cornwall.
In terms of what's there: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them. Parking is on site. Sorry, no pets.
