Sunrise is in Portscatho. You're right in the middle of the village, a few minutes' walk from the cove. It's a normal family house, not a show home. It's comfortable.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The two front bedrooms look out over the roofs towards the sea. You can see a good slice of it. The third bedroom has bunk beds. There's a family bathroom with a bath and shower, plus a separate toilet upstairs.
Downstairs, there's a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen with a utility room off it. There's also a downstairs loo. It's all straightforward. You get a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
Outside, there's a small paved front garden with a seat. Out the back, there's a courtyard with a table, chairs, and a barbecue. A gate from the courtyard leads to your private parking space on North Parade.
Portscatho itself is quiet. There's a pub, a shop, a cafe, and the beach. That's about it. It's good for a proper switch-off. For longer walks, you're on the South West Coast Path.
St Mawes is about ten minutes' drive if you want a ferry over to Falmouth. The Trelissick estate is roughly twenty minutes away, and Tregothnan is a bit further. Truro is under half an hour for bigger shops.
Facilities are all included: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring up to two dogs.
