The Sea House

The Sea House is in Portscatho. It's a 5 Star place, which just means it's been done up to a high standard. It's got sea views, as you'd expect. It's about a hundred yards from the village square. There's a shop, a butcher, a pub, and a restaurant there. A few art galleries too.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so enough for everyone. Two of the bathrooms are shower rooms, one is a proper bathroom. The master bedroom has that bath and looks out over the harbour towards Dodman Point.

The living area is downstairs, on the lower ground floor. It's all open plan: kitchen, dining, sitting room. There's a wood burner. The floor is stone flagged. You get to the terrace from there through patio doors. The sea comes right up to the wall at the bottom of it.

You park at the top. There are steps down to the side terrace and the front door. The entrance porch has space for coats and boots. The hall has a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a freezer.

Everything you need is included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV. No pets, sorry.

For walking, the South West Coast Path is right there. St Mawes is about a fifteen minute drive. You can get the ferry from there to Falmouth if you fancy it. The Roseland Peninsula is a good area to explore by car.
