Riverside Cottage is in Coombe, up the Fal estuary. It’s a small one-bedroom cottage for two people. It's part of the Tregothnan Estate.
The cottage looks right out over the creek. The view is good from every room. The creek is tidal here, so it changes a lot through the day. There's a wood burning stove in the living room. The bathroom has a roll-top bath and a separate shower. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine in the utility area.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a barbecue. Parking is on site.
The location is quite central if you want to explore Cornwall. Truro is about ten minutes by car for shops and supermarkets. You're about half an hour from the north coast and surfing beaches like Fistral. Padstow is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes. To get to the Roseland Peninsula, you use the King Harry Ferry, which is a five-minute drive from here.
There are footpaths right from the door for walks. For sailing or watersports, Loe Beach is nearby. For a longer coastal walk, the Roseland area is good.
