Fuchsia Cottage is in St Mawes, right down in the village centre. It's two up, two down. Meaning two bedrooms upstairs, two rooms downstairs.
It sleeps three, two in a double and one in a single. Everything inside is modernised now, but it keeps the old low beams and the stone fireplace.
The stairs are steep. Fine for most people but just so you know.
Outside the back door there's a private courtyard with a table and chairs. You can eat outside there.
Parking is a space you have to walk to, maybe twenty or thirty yards away. It’s a designated spot.
One dog is welcome.
Everything in St Mawes is a few minutes’ walk. There are two good beaches, shops, a few pubs and restaurants.
St Mawes Castle is English Heritage. You can walk to it in about five minutes. The view from there is good.English Heritage - St Mawes Castle
There's a passenger ferry that goes over to Falmouth nearly all year round. That's a nice way to get across.
The South West Coast Path runs through the village. You can walk towards St Anthony Head or the other way to Place and St Just in Roseland.
The cottage has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
