Mizzen Top
Mizzen Top is in the middle of St Mawes. It's a bright cottage that sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not high-end.
You get to it by going up some steps from the road. The main living room has a wood burner and looks out over the water. The kitchen has what you need: an oven, hob, dishwasher, and microwave.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a kingsize bed and a view of the sea. The other room has two single beds. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
The best part is outside. There's a raised, decked terrace at the back, which is a real sun trap. The front garden has seating and that sea view. It's a good spot to sit with a drink in the evening.
Everything you'd expect is here: WiFi, TV, washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
You're right in the village, so you can walk to the shops, pubs, and the ferry. The St Mawes Castle is a short walk away. For a longer walk, you can catch the ferry over to Falmouth. The Trelissick Garden is about a 25-minute drive, and the Glendurgan Garden is about the same.
