Rosevean House

Rosevean House is on the hill above St Mawes harbour. It's a detached house. You can see the whole bay from the windows. The view is really something.

It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The house is on different levels, so there are a few steps inside. The stairs up to the mezzanine are quite open, so keep an eye on small children.

You get the whole garden. There's a patio with a BBQ. The walk down to the village is via a path and a short, steep hill. So the walk back up is, well, a hill. You're on foot in about five minutes.

In the village there's a Co-op supermarket, a bakery, and a few places to eat. Summers Beach is just down the path from the house. You can get the ferry across to Falmouth from the harbour. That takes about 20 minutes.

For things to do, St Mawes Castle is a short walk away. The coastal path is right there. You can get the little Place Ferry over to St Anthony's Head from the harbour. The National Trust looks after a lot of the Roseland peninsula.

The house has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking for two cars on the drive. It's fine to bring up to two dogs. There's an electric vehicle charger.
