Florizel
Florizel is an apartment on the first floor. It’s just for two people. There’s one bedroom and one bathroom.
You’re right by Gyllyngvase Beach, so it’s a five minute walk down to the sand. The town centre is about the same walk the other way. It’s handy.
The main thing is the balcony. It’s private and it’s got a table and chairs. The view is straight out over Falmouth Bay. You can sit there with a drink.
Inside, it’s all open plan. The living area has patio doors that open onto the balcony. It’s a comfortable space. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s well looked after.
The facilities are what you’d expect. There’s WiFi, parking on site, and a dishwasher. Being so close to the sea, you do get a bit of salt spray on the windows sometimes. That’s just how it is here.
In Falmouth itself, you’ve got the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. Plenty of places to eat and drink. The art gallery is good if you’re into that.
For wider days out, you’re well placed. The Lizard peninsula is about half an hour south. Truro is twenty minutes north. The whole south coast is within easy reach for a drive.
