Camellia Cottage

Camellia Cottage is in St Mawes up on the hill. You get a good view of the harbour and the bay from the front windows and the garden.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. We take one dog if you're bringing one.

It's a short walk down to the harbour, maybe a couple of minutes. Coming back up is a proper steep hill with steps though, so you need to be okay with that. It keeps you fit.

The sitting room has a wood burner. It's a cosy room. The garden is enclosed, which is handy. Basic things are there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included.

You don't really need a car here. There are shops, cafes, and pubs a walk away. The passenger ferry goes to Falmouth from the harbour. There are a couple of shingle beaches in the village. For sand, you can walk out to the St Anthony headland beaches or get the ferry across to Place.

The whole Roseland peninsula is good for walking. You can get out on the water easily if that's your thing. For a day out, Trelissick Garden is about half an hour's drive, or you could go over to Falmouth.
