This is High Meadows in St Mawes. It's a big house that sleeps up to eleven people. There are six bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy with a group.
The house is what they call reverse level, so the main living area is upstairs to get the views. You get a good view of the Percuil River from the kitchen and living room. There's a dining room and a smaller library area if you want a bit of quiet. Downstairs is all bedrooms. Two of the doubles have doors out to the garden.
There's a separate annexe on the property. The owners use it sometimes. They have their own entrance round the back and it's sound-proofed. You won't see them, and they don't look into the main garden.
Outside is a decent sized garden and patio with a BBQ. There's parking. Inside, it's got all the things you'd expect for a big group: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well equipped and finished.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a utility room on the ground floor which is useful for wet coats or dog beds.
St Mawes itself is about half a mile down the hill. It's a proper Cornish waterside village. There are pubs, restaurants, and shops a few minutes' walk away. The beach isn't far. You can get the ferry over to Falmouth, which takes about 20 minutes.
For things to do, St Mawes Castle is right there. The coastal path walks are good. The Roseland Peninsula is nice to explore by car.
