Whitestones is in St Mawes, about a ten minute walk down to the harbour. It's a modern house, sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms.
The layout is upside down, so the main living area is upstairs. That's where the kitchen, dining table, and sitting room are. The view from the deck there is good, you look out across the water. It's enclosed, so it's safe. Downstairs are the four bedrooms: two doubles with king-size beds and two twins.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and comfortable. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The driveway fits two cars, which is useful in St Mawes.
The walk to the harbour is down a steep hill. You should know that. Coming back up is a good climb. Everything you need is down there: pubs, restaurants, a few shops, a butcher, a post office. The beach is about half a mile.
You can get the ferry over to Falmouth from the harbour. There's also the little Place Ferry that goes across to St Anthony's Head. The National Trust looks after that area, good for walks.
Facilities: parking for two cars, WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
