The Studio is on Bohella, which is the hill above St Mawes harbour. It's a little cottage, tucked in behind another house. You get the terrace to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, which means it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The layout is a bit unusual. You come in on the middle floor into the living room and kitchen. The stairs down to the twin bedroom and bathroom are quite steep. The stairs up to the double bedroom are steep too. That bedroom is in the roof, so mind your head on the rafters. The view from the Velux windows up there is good, straight out over the water.
St Mawes itself is all down the hill. It's a proper Cornish harbour village. There's a shop, a few places to eat, and the ferry over to Falmouth. You can walk down in about ten minutes, but it's a steep walk back up.
For a bigger day out, the National Trust's Trelissick Garden is about a 25 minute drive. The English Heritage site at Pendennis Castle in Falmouth is about the same, depending on the ferry. You can drive round, but the ferry is nicer.
In the cottage, there's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The WiFi is included. Bedding and towels are provided. No pets, I'm afraid.
