The Studio is in Bohella, just outside St Mawes. It's a converted old stone building, one of a few cottages around a little courtyard. You know St Mawes, it's the small village across from Falmouth.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms. Quite handy that it has two bathrooms, one is an ensuite off the main bedroom. The main bedroom is upstairs in the roof space, so the ceiling slopes down and there are Velux windows. You get a good view of the water from up there.
Downstairs is open plan. Kitchen, living area, TV. There's a door out to a small terrace. From the main room you can just see a bit of sea between the rooftops.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean, comfortable, and practical. The stairs inside are a typical cottage spiral stair, so they're narrow and steep. You need to mind your head on the rafters upstairs.
From there it's a short walk down the footpath into St Mawes itself. You've got the harbour, cafes, and the ferry over to Falmouth. The Trebah Garden is about a twenty minute drive away. For a longer trip, the Lizard Peninsula is roughly half an hour.
Facilities are straightforward. Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Electricity is in the price. No pets.
