Upper Cobblestones
Upper Cobblestones is in St Mawes. It's on the west side of the village, near the castle. The main thing about it is the view. You look straight out over Falmouth Bay. You'll see yachts, the ferry chugging across, and sometimes big ships heading up towards Falmouth docks.
It sleeps ten. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is upside down: the living area and kitchen are upstairs to make the most of the view. There's a big balcony across the front. The stairs inside are fine, normal stairs.
Outside, there's a heated swimming pool with a safety cover on it. The garden is a good size. Plenty of parking.
You can walk into the village centre and the harbour in about five minutes. There are shops, pubs, and restaurants down there. The ferry goes from the harbour to Falmouth, which is handy. St Mawes Castle is just a short walk away.
For beaches, you've got a few around. Porthcurnick is about a ten minute drive, that's a nice sandy one. The South West Coast Path runs right past the bottom of the garden practically, so you can walk for miles.
Facilities: it’s got the pool, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to four dogs.
Other places within about half an hour: Trelissick Garden, the maritime museum in Falmouth, and the ferry over to Flushing. Truro is about 25 minutes if you need a big supermarket or the cathedral.
