Little Egret is on the first floor of the Beach Hall building, right in the middle of St Mawes. It's an apartment, not a standalone house. You get one dedicated parking space, which is a big plus here.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main bedroom has a good view over the harbour.
The living room is light, with a big window. But the main thing is the roof terrace. The whole building shares it. It's up on the roof, with a proper, elevated view right over the harbour and the bay. You can sit up there and watch the boats.
You're right in the village. The front door is a few steps from the shops and a couple of pubs. There's a beach just across the road, maybe a two-minute walk.
St Mawes itself is a proper sailing village. There's always something happening on the water in the summer. For walks, you're on the Roseland Peninsula. The coastal path is right there. For a bigger trip, the ferry goes across to Falmouth, which takes about 20 minutes.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
